An Elim pedicure isn't like any other pedicure, Elim is a medical grade pedicure treatment which uses state of the art ingredients to remove hard skin and calluses from the feet.

Traditional methods for hard skin removal has been methods such as filing, blading and harsh granular exfoliates.  The action of filing and blading sends messages of trauma to the brain which results in over production of skin cells and the excessive hard skin formation of callus.

The treatment begins by sanitising the feet.  The heel peel is then carried out by applying the Elim "callus tonic" to the feet which is a peel that breaks down the protein bonds that bind dead skin cells together.  After 10 minutes the tonic is removed and the dead skin is gently scraped and buffed away.  Once the removal process has been completed on both feet a ph neutraliser is used to re-balance the ph of the skin. An AHA exfoliate is then applied to soften the feet. A foot balm with a unique gel powder formula that leaves feet feeling soft and nourished and cuticle oil completes the treatment.

Elim Pedicure

This is followed by an AHA exfoliate and foot massage.  During this treatment the toe nails are cut and filed and the cuticles tided.  The nails are painted during or at the end of the treatment depending on whether vanish or gel is being applied. Optional Gold Spritz and cuticle oil complete the pedicure.

Elim Luxury Pedicure

This treatment includes the removal or hard skin and calluses from the feet using the Elim Callus Tonic with no post treatment peeling.   Once the dead skin has been removed from both feet a ph neuraliser is used to re-balance the ph in the skin. During this treatment the nails are cut and filed and the cuticles tided.  The nails are painted during or at the end of the pedicure depending on whether vanish or gel is being applied.  An AHA exfoliate and Elim Ultra Mud Mask are applied to the feet wrapped and placed in heated boots while you relax for 10 minutes.  The mask is then removed and followed by a foot massage.  Optional Gold Spritz and cuticle oil complete the pedicure leaving you feeling like you are walking on air!

To start nails are cut and filed and the cuticles tidied.  The hands are then exfoliated using the Elim Hydro-Thermal Exfoliant with its unique thermal agent with heating actives to enhance the penetration of minerals and anti-ageing actives. Next the hands and arms are massaged using Ultra Rich Hand Therapy a hydrating treatment to restore moisture to dry skin infused with ingredients to restore moisture for up to 12 hours and reduce the signs of ageing.   Cuticle MD is then applied and your manicure is complete with a dusting of Elim Gold Spritz to finish.

Elim Luxury Manicure

To start nails are cut and filed and the cuticles tidied.  The hands are then exfoliated using the Elim Hydro-Thermal Exfoliant with its unique thermal agent with heating actives to enhance the penetration of minerals and anti-ageing actives.  UltraMud a deep cleansing rich clay mask is then applied to detoxify, purify, protect, clean and hydrate the skin for 10 minutes in heated mittens.  Next the hands and arms are massaged using Ultra Rich Hand Therapy a hydrating treatment to restore moisture to dry skin infused with ingredients to restore moisture for up to 12 hours and reduce the signs of ageing.   Cuticle MD is then applied and your manicure is complete with a dusting of Elim Gold Spritz to finish.

Gel Nails or Toes

Gel nails last between 2 and 3 weeks.  The cuticles are tidied and the nails cut filed, painted and cured in a LED lamp so dried immediately.  The brand I use is The Manicure Company, their original polish and the new Zero polish which is free from HEMA, DI-HEMA, HPMA, TPMA, TPQ & IBOA an exceptional hypoallergenic gel polish range ideal for clients with allergies to standard gel polish.
